Glossolalia or (speaking in tongues) is the fluid vocalizing of speech-like syllables that lack any readily comprehended meaning, in some cases as part of religious practice. Some consider it as a part of a sacred language
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. | Acts 2:4

Praying in tongues builds your faith because every time you pray in tongues you use your faith. To pray in a language your mind doesn’t understand; to pray in a language that so many make fun of; to pray in a language that the devil tells you again and again, “You are just making that up.
