Handicamp is a wonderful documentary about an adult retreat that is geared toward adults with mental disabilities and handicaps. They integrate skill learning for jobs and social experiences. The documentary follows the experiences of first time people at this incredible camp and just how much it affects their confidence and attitude toward their own disabilities. All of the struggles that they may face is handled in a way that is absolutely helpful and beautiful. The camp pairs up each handicapped camper with a person to be their mentor and friend through out the process, this promotes social relationship development in both people.
